kudos Holman for being green

I'm not really one too toot one local business over another...but in this case I must make an exception.

The new Holman Grand Hotel in Charlottetown uses a geothermal system to heat the hotel. There's a number of other green initiatives to recover heat from waste water, think of the all the guest showers a year! As well as passive solar heating and a green roof. The cost savings are likely the reason for the design, but kudos for being green.

I'd love for my next house to have a green roof and passive solar heating. I might have to do some digging to see if there are any decent local green builders.

It's the future.
