Vee and I had a great debate today with our friends Michelle and Geoff. I love to see what happens when you mix a new mom, and a new dad with a desire for healthy country living, with two geeks that love the city and all of the gadgets and toys that come from technology. Differing views resulted but our ethics were quite similar. Sometimes you have more in common than you realize after you strip away the layers of self described identity. And sometimes, well sometimes you question what planet you're from.

The evening was spent in more conversation with our friends Mark and Angie. (Ren's other parents) There was much less to debate, except why YU organic soy drink doesn't taste like peaches and pears or peas?? That's one I won't bore you with detail.

I will add that Amelie was a wonderful film. I think I will see it again. It has given me a fresh look on doing nice things for others. I wonder how long that will last?
