It seems this time of year I spend alot more time thinking about snowboarding than actually snowboarding. I woke this am with snow on the ground, so I pulled out my white fuzzy boots to put me in the mood for snowdom.
By lunchtime all the snow had melted and so did my hopes of snowboarding early this year.
El Peejo added to the graffiti on my bedroom wall this evening. He's left me with the smell of Sharpie Magnum. I think that's an outdoor marker. Renny and I are getting slightly light headed inhaling the fumes, but the artwork is coming along nicely.
For those of you who don't know, PJ ripped all the outdated floral wallpaper off my walls while I was in Toronto, in hopes of doing this great "while you were hanging with your gay friends" show. Turned out that there were 5 layers of wallpaper so the job turned into an huge undertaking to get to the bare walls to paint.
It looks very radical in here. Torn bits, showing the bare wall in spots. I really like it, which I'm not sure what that says about my taste. The old floral stuff made me feel as though I was trapped inside a box of chocolates, so it is an improvement over that. I imagine this look is very NYC Warhol studio.
Peej started to prime one wall to see if it could be painted over, so it has left a perfect area to do some graphiti, before I get the energy for layer 6 to wallpaper the entire room again. I love that we are leaving a little nugget, a little artful surprise for someone someday to discover when renovating.
