|We launched ScreenScape online this week.
I've been working with the team since February, and it's finally time to show what we've all been quietly working on these past few months.
When I was approached to join in February, I found it very hard to refuse. Here was a team already formed with savvy developers, a demo product, a leader who believes in where it's going, and resources to make it happen.
I watched over the past few months as a demo product built with Flex morphed and shaped into a solution that we are all proud of. There's a way to go yet, as we are still in private beta. Which means public beta isn't for awhile yet, but the time has come to share the idea of what we are building.
I've been in charge of product marketing, which is a fantastic fit as it's a mix of design, online marketing and tech. I'm really interested in continuing to shape our online presence in the coming months and getting feedback from our customers.
As the only full time gal (and only 1 other gal part time) in a startup of 9 you would think I'd have a hard time fitting in. I realized I'm likely better suited to spend the majority of my time with developers and operations people anyway. Everyone brings something to the team, and everyone has mad skills. It's a nice feeling at the end of the day to know you are working together to build something that is much greater than the sum of its parts.
